1. Who we are

PositionMeAI is a product of De Vlamingh & Associates Consulting CC, a close corporation registered in South Africa, operated by a team of registered Industrial/Organisational Psychologists. Our practice is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA PS 0151985).

2. Products and services

PositionMeAI offers the following digital products:

• Career Scan & Report — a free diagnostic assessment across six Career Intelligence pillars
• Career Intelligence Academy — a subscription-based library of 140 structured courses across 23 professional fields
• AI Playbooks — field-specific workflow guides included with Academy subscription
• Judgment Lab — AI-coached professional judgment simulations (pilot access)
• Enterprise Platform — institutional site licences and cohort analytics

3. Subscriptions and payments

Global subscriptions (USD)

Global Academy subscriptions are billed in USD through Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle's terms of service and privacy policy also apply to your purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual).

South Africa subscriptions (ZAR)

South African users may subscribe via positionmeai.co.za, where payment is processed in ZAR through PayFast.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period, except where required by law or covered by our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You may access PositionMeAI products for personal, professional development purposes. You may not:

• Share, resell, or redistribute course content or assessment outputs without written permission
• Use course materials to build competing products or training programmes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract assessment scoring logic
• Use AI tools to generate fake or misleading Career Scan responses
• Share login credentials or subscription access with other individuals

Institutional access for multiple users requires an Enterprise site licence — contact us at enterprise enquiry.

5. Intellectual property

All content, assessments, frameworks, course materials, and scoring methodologies are the intellectual property of De Vlamingh & Associates Consulting CC. The Career Intelligence Framework methodology is open for peer review — this means we publish our research foundations, not that the content is in the public domain or free to use.

You may quote short excerpts for educational or journalistic purposes with attribution. For research use of the framework or methodology, contact us directly.

6. No outcome guarantees

PositionMeAI products develop Career Intelligence — the ability to read, navigate, and position within AI-shaped labour markets. We do not promise, imply, or guarantee employment outcomes, job offers, promotions, salary increases, or any specific career result.

Career Intelligence is a capability. What you do with that capability is entirely your own.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, De Vlamingh & Associates Consulting CC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of PositionMeAI products. Our total liability to you in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid for the product in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Career Scan results and Academy course content are educational in nature. They are not professional career counselling, psychological assessments, or legal/financial advice.

8. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using PositionMeAI products, you consent to the data practices described there.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email. Continued use of the products after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable law in your own country.
